So you've found out about Candide and are ready to start selling to our plant-loving community. What next? You'll need to download the Candide app from your mobile app store first and create a username. We'd suggest your username is your business name, or relevant to what you're selling.

Once you've downloaded the app and created your account, you can follow these simple steps below.

To create a new listing, please enter the Marketplace and navigate to the 'selling' tab at the top of the screen. Once here, tap the ‘New listing’ button at the bottom of the screen.

Note: the view below is taken from an account signed up to Candide Payments, it will be different if you are a chat based seller.

Please then tap the 'List an item' button.

You will then be taken on to the Listing Detail page, where you will need to provide an image of the item. You can either take a new photo or upload an existing photo from your device. You can also add multiple images of the item, by tapping the button again.

You will then need to assign a category to the listing, please ensure you have selected an appropriate category for your item. You will also need to set a price for your item, you can sell it, put it up for swapping, or list it as a free item that you are happy to part with.

You can also enter a quantity if you wish. If you leave it blank, then your item can be purchased an unlimited number of times. If you set a quantity this figure will self- decrement whenever you make a sale.

Note: the quantity feature is only available on Candide Payments.

Please then add a title for your item. Then enter a detailed description, the more information the better to help users choose your item! Here is our handy guide to listing plants if you need any help!

Once you are done press 'Continue'

You will then see a summary page, and you will need to add your location so that users can see how far they will need to travel to collect the item from you. This doesn't need to be a street address or your postcode, it can be as simple as the town or area you are in, especially if you are offering UK wide delivery.

When you have set your location and saved these details your item will be live on our app; if you are signed up to payments it will also be live on our website.
