Sellers can now manage stock and orders effectively through the app. All you'll need to do to gain access to all these features is get set up on Candide Payments, for a guide on how to do this click here.
Once you've done this, head over to the Marketplace tab!
When you open the Marketplace you will be able to see the usual ‘Browse’ ‘Selling’, and ‘Messages’ tabs at the top of the screen. If you click into the ‘Selling’ tab, you’ll see your new dashboard.
At a glance: your main dashboard
The homepage of your seller dashboard shows an overview of your shop. It will tell you the number of live listings you have, as well as your open orders and total sales figure for the current month.
From this page you can also create a listing by clicking the ‘New listing’ button at the bottom of the screen. You’ll also see additional tabs underneath to see your Listings, Orders, Manage your Payments, Delivery Settings and to visit your shop page.
By clicking onto the ‘Live Listings’ button, you’ll be taken through to view all of your listings. They can be viewed in four states:
All listings - allows you to view all listings, both live, out of stock and closed.
Live listings - allows you to view listings that are still live and available for purchase.
Out of stock - everything that has gone out of stock in your shop can be found here. If you get more of a specific product back in stock, you can click on the listing in this state and use the ‘+’ button to re-add stock to your shop.
Closed - listings that you have closed can be found here. You might close a listing if you only had limited stock, or if something has gone out of stock for the season. You can reopen listings from the closed state by clicking on them and using the ‘Open listing’ button.
From your listings dashboard, you can also create new listings and manage your stock. To edit your stock levels:
Select the item that you wish to change, which will take you to the listing.
Use the ‘+’ and ‘-’ buttons to adjust to the number you have in stock. If you adjust the quantity to 0 your listing will automatically become ‘out of stock.’
If you wish to close a listing rather than making it temporarily out of stock, you must click the ‘close listing’ button.
By clicking on the ‘Open order’ button on the dashboard homepage, you’ll be taken through to see all of your orders. They can be viewed in two states:
All open - allows you to view all of your current orders which still need to be processed.
By clicking on individual orders in this state, you will be able to see the item that was purchased, along with the buyer’s contact details and address. This allows you to easily email buyers with any updates you have about their order. Once you have posted their item, you can move the order from ‘Open’ to ‘Complete,’ helping you to keep track of orders more easily.
Complete - allows you to see your order history and view orders that have already been completed.
If you need to give a full or partial refund to a customer for any reason, this can be requested through the dashboard too. To request a refund:
Tap "My Orders"
Select the order you wish to refund
Tap the three dots in the right-hand corner of your screen and select "Refund" and send the auto-populated message to our support team.
Once you've hit send, our support team will receive your refund request and be in touch soon to check the amount and process this for you.
